Here are my favorite songs from Disney:
"The circle of life" from The Lion King http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwSKkKrUzUk
"A whole new world" from Aladdin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kl4hJ4j48s
"You'll be in my heart" from Tarzan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIVaUcE4kAM
"If I never knew you" from Pocahontas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiuBw_kj1-U
"I'm still here" from Treasure Planet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMGXq9_IQBQ
The good music from Disney came from films that were produced after the 90's. The last animated cartoon film from Disney was The Princess and the Frog. Computer animated films from Pixar are currently dominating the magical world of Disney. The children of this generation are not experiencing that magic that Disney brought in the past. The Disney Channel is not helping at all with their teen-based programs, which fail to target the children population. Where are the cartoons? Mickey, please come back!

Who is the best villain?
His tone of voice, evil plans, personality, and clothing make Jafar (from the film Aladdin) one of my favorite Disney villains. Jafar manipulates Aladdin in order to obtain the Genie's lamp. When Jafar finally obtains the lamp after his parrot Iago manages to steal it from Aladdin, he tells the Genie to grant him his first wish. For his first wish, he wants to become Sultan, who is the father of Princess Jasmine. For his second wish, he asks the Genie to make him the most powerful sorcerer in the world. Because Princess Jasmine refuses to become his queen, he asks the Genie to make her fall in love him for his third wish. Knowing that Aladdin is present to save her, Jasmine pretends to fall in love with Jafar by seducing him with a kiss. Jafar transforms into a giant snake to kill Aladdin, but Aladdin tells him that his not the most powerful person in the universe. To have the ultimate power, Jafar asks the Genie to turn him into a genie. Unfortunately, Jafar gets stuck inside his lamp with his parrot Iago. The film continues with its sequel: The Return of Jafar.

What is your favorite Disney film?
The film Mary Poppins changed my childhood. The actors, the setting, the music, the storyline, well, EVERYTHING in the film is perfect When I was a little kid, my mom always hired nannies to take care of me. I was mean and cruel to all of them, making sure they never come back. Why? I always dreamt of having a nanny like Mary Poppins. I wanted to enter a magical world just like Jane and Michael, the children that Mary Poppins took care of when she was their nanny. My favorite song from the film is "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." Julie Andrews, who played the role of Mary Poppins, is a gem of an actress. The young leaving the parents
What messages is Disney teaching to children in regard to respecting parents? In the films The Little Mermaid II, Lady and the Tramp II, Lion King II, and 101 Dalmations II, the young Disney characters decide to run away from home, ignoring their parents. Ariel's (the Little Mermaid) has a daughter who wishes to become a mermaid and decides to leave her house without knowing she will encounter a witch. Lady (from Lady and the the Tramp) has a son, Scamp, who wants to be wild and free and leaves home without realizing the dangers of the streets. Simba (The Lion king) warns her daughter to stay in the prideland since it's dangerous to be alone, but she refuses to listen. Pongo (101 Dalmatians) has a son who left home in search for a movie star without realizing the consequences. Is it safe to show these Disney films?
